Shipping Policy and Shipping Costs McCallister's Art Supplies, located in Dayton, OH, typically ships orders via UPS Ground Service or First-Class/Priority Mail to all fifty U.S. states.   Alternate methods of shipment may be requested and we will gladly work with you to accommodate your needs -- contact us toll-free (USA) at 1-888-419-6615.  A variety of shipping methods, including Priority Mail, Express Mail, Global Priority, Next Day and Second Day services, are available to meet the needs of our customers.  For all destinations the shipping methods available may be restricted by size, content, and weight of package. All P.O. Box addresses must use US Postal Service because United Parcel Service (UPS) will not ship to P.O. Boxes.   To expedite shipping by an alternative method with a critical due date, we suggest calling our retail store (toll-free USA) 1-888-419-6615 and speak with one of our staff available Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm or Saturday 10am - 5pm Eastern Time Zone USA. We will gladly provide a quote for shipping charges with phone and mail orders before you finalize your order.  For all orders, you may receive a quote when placing a phone order or you may e-mail us at info@mccallisters.com for a quote of shipping charges prior to ordering.  Shipping costs & choices are provided automatically when ordering from the On-Line Catalog.  McCallister's will ship international orders.  Please inquire about any possible restrictions.  For international orders, any applicable customs and/or import duty/fees/taxes or other charges are the responsibility of the customer.  International orders may require additional contact information before processing is approved. Orders for in-stock items are processed and shipped Monday-Friday within 24-48 hours from receipt of order and payment authorization provided items are in-stock.   Saturday and Sunday orders are processed on Monday. Occasionally due to high demand, we are unable to fill orders from inventory and must wait for a backorder from our suppliers for out-of-stock items.  If we do not have an item that you have ordered in-stock, customer service will contact you.  Your credit card will not be charged until we ship your order.  Backorders typically ship within 1-3 weeks.  For order inquires please contact McCallister's toll-free 1-888-419-6615 (USA). McCallister's Art Supplies strives to keep your shipping costs to a minimum.  Shipping fees are based on package weight and size, shipping destination, and any special handling costs as applicable.  McCallister's wants to minimize the cost of shipping fees charged to the customer.  Shipping fees are not determined by the total price of the purchase. Canada:  Air mail service is typically the best shipping value.  We will be glad to provide quotes for phone and mail orders.  Any and all customs import duties/fees/taxes or customs clearance fees are the responsibility of the customer.  Contact your local customs office for more information. Shipping Methods -- McCallister's primarily uses UPS or U.S. Postal System for shipping.  Both offer a variety of services depending on the ship-to address destination.  Among the services are: UPS -- UPS delivery services are Monday - Friday.  When counting the number days for UPS delivery, only count the business days of Monday - Friday and do not count the day the package is initially received by UPS (the "ship-out" date).  For example, an order shipped on Wednesday with a 3 day delivery time will be scheduled for delivery on Monday -- day #1 is Thursday, day #2 is Friday, and day #3 is Monday.  UPS does not deliver on Saturday or Sunday except for a special UPS Saturday Delivery Service available only in certain areas, for an additional premium, and  made by special arrangement.  You must call McCallister's (toll-free 1888-419-6615) to make special arrangement for Saturday Delivery service.   UPS delivers to street addresses.  UPS does not deliver to P.O. boxes or APO's.  Standard UPS services include: UPS Ground Service -- Delivery to in the contiguous 48 states in USA.  Typically takes 2 - 5 business days depending on ship-to address.   UPS 3-Day Select -- Guaranteed delivery within three business days (Mon - Fri) in the 48 contiguous states in USA. UPS 2ND Day Air -- On-time delivery to all 50 states and Puerto Rico by the end of second business day (Mon - Fri).  Deliveries to remote locations in Alaska may take an additional 1-5 days. UPS Next Day Air Saver -- Guaranteed delivery by end of business day (Mon -Fri) in the 48 contiguous states in USA. U.S. Postal Service -- Priority Mail, Airmail Parcel, and Global Priority, and Express Mail services available.  Delivery within the 50 states of the USA is Mon - Sat., other locations determined by local postal service.  Most services are non-guaranteed delivery date.  Guaranteed Delivery Date Service is available only to select locations and for an additional cost.  Please call McCallister's toll-free 1-888-419-66115 to check on availability and to make arrangements for this service if needed. Truck and Freight -- Larger items, such as over-sized easels, painting stations, and demonstration mirrors may require truck-freight delivery.  McCallister's handles all arrangements at the time your order is placed.  You do not need to request this service -- it automatically handled for you.  For most items delivered in the 48 contiguous states of the USA, the freight cost is "bundled" with the cost of the item -- there will be no additional shipping charge.  Delivery to all locations outside of the 48 contiguous USA states may require additional shipping fees.  McCallister's will contact you with this information for your approval before shipping and to finalize your order. Return and Exchange Policy Upon receipt of your order, please inspect all merchandise.   If you should need to return an item or have a problem with your order, please contact McCallister's Art Supplies first before sending merchandise back to us.  Please e-mail us at info@mccallisters.com or call  (toll-free) 1-888-419-6615 or in the Dayton, Ohio area (937) 278-0844 to authorize all returns.  At that time, McCallister's will provide you with shipping information necessary for your return.  All returns and exchanges must be accompanied with the receipt and within 14 days from date of purchase or receipt. Proof-of-purchase is required for all returns and exchanges and merchandise must be in new condition, including any original packaging.  Any defective merchandise may be exchanged with no additional shipping fees.   Shipping Fees for Returned Merchandise For returned merchandise, customer is responsible for both the original shipping fee and the return shipping fee of the merchandise.  For returns,  Customer may re-package and/or re-label the box and ship at customer expense to McCallister's Art Supplies, or  Refuse delivery and have return shipping fees deducted from the credit to be given for the original purchase of the merchandise. Cancelled Orders -- shipping fees for orders cancelled after the order has been shipped are non-refundable. Cancel An Order If you should need to cancel your order, please contact McCallister's Art Supplies as soon as possible.  Please e-mail us at info@mccallisters.com or call  (toll-free) 1-888-419-6615 or in the Dayton, Ohio area (937) 278-0844.  If the order has NOT been shipped, we can pull the package from shipment and you will be given a full refund on your order, including the shipping fee -- special orders are excluded from  this policy. Special Orders Can't find the item you need or there never seems to be large enough quantity in stock for what you need?  McCallister's will be glad to assist with Special Orders.   For most custom orders, a 25% deposit of the purchase price is required for placing the order.  The 25% deposit is a non-refundable re-stocking fee if the customer cancels the order for any reason. Gift Messages McCallister's Art Supplies will create a gift card upon request when shipping an order as a gift.  Gift cards are created from handmade or decorative papers that we stock in our retail store.  Personalized message specified by the customer in the COMMENT Box at check-out time will be printed and inserted into the card.    McCallister's Art Supplies does not review or edit any portion of gift messages and disclaims all responsibility for their content.
